Fatima Effendi Talks about Doing Bold Roles in Iftar Mulaqaat

Fourth episode of Iftar Mulaqaat hosted by Hina Khawaja Bayat, Fatima Effendi is the guest of honor. Even though, Hina Bayat has been out of the hosting scene for quite a while and this is her comeback… none of this was obvious from her performance. She is flawless, conversing beautifully with the veteran actors as well somebody as young as Fatima, almost getting along with them as peers.
When we corned Fatima and asked her about her views about doing some bold roles, she mentioned that she was hesitant to play a part in anything that’s considered bold.
“I’m not the person for bold roles, I’d rather be intrigued in the depth of the character.”
When asked, her preferences about the dramas she acts in she responded…
“I’m more interested in characters with depth, in representing that depth”
