Sprite TVC 2014 Pyaas ki Waat Laga
Sprite brings a new Tv Commercial featuring Meesha Shafi and many others. The theme based on flyboarding. Its Sprite Refreshment TVC with the tagline Pyas Ki WAAT Laga. I am totally disappointed with the Slang language used in the tagline. The word WAAT does not match our tradition and language limitation. What do you mean by saying Pyass ki WAAT laga than after that Garmi Ki Band Baja on your facebook page? Is this how you present your brand? Is this the language tradition you are leaving behind for the coming generation?
You use an excellent concept for the commercial that turns into a crap just because of the tagline. If you recall sprite TVC Mein mein hoon tu kaun hai series was the similar slang concept. Back than if you compare Sprite amazing concept like Mirchi pay lago re Sprite ka tarka, Sprite Nights, Mirchi pay Sprite ka tarka Laga re, was master piece of the brand.
Another thing i notice this AD was made internationally and some shots were edited in Pakistan at Kanpur Dam featuring Meesha shafi. The scene did not match after the boys scene and the commercial looks disjoint as some places. The background song Mera Mahi was sung by Ali Azmat. Have a look at the video below.
