Its a love story of Asi who lives in ankatiya. Demir a bussiness man from istanbul. Who returns to his hometown with his friend Kerim after a long time. Their he reminded the tragic death of his mother who drowned herself in the river after loosing her job. Trying to aviod the incident of the past Demir suddenly a saw girl drowned herself in the river for saving the child. Demir jumped and save Asi.

Unfortunately, Asi was the daughter of the man whom Demir thinks holds responsible for his family´s tragedy.

Demir told Asi about the past and the suicide of her mother, she was shocked and can understand Demir´s behavior. Kerim fell in love with Defne the sister of Asi , but Suheyla was againts their marriage and any matches between her family and the Kozcuoglus.

Asi accepted Demir´s a job at Demir farm to pay off half of her father´s depths by giving him her beloved horse. But she finds it more and more difficult to work at Demir´s farm after the tragic death of her horse. Asi quits her job.

Demir fears that he will loose Asi when his cousin showed intrest in Asi. After years of yearning and believing that her son has died in childbirth, Süheyla finally finds out that Aslan is her son. 

 Defne´s parents are as much against their marriage as Kerim´s family. The newly weds have no other choice but to temporarily stay at Cemal Aga´s house. 

Demir gives Asi the gold necklace as a sign of their love and asks her to always wear it.

Asi and Demir finally confess their love for each other. Demir gives back the farm to Asi as the present.

Demir manages to save Suheyla. Her suicide attempt brings Demir, Melek and Aslan closer to Suheyla while Demir once again distances himself from Asi. Things between Asi and Demir seem hopeless. 

Asi can no longer trust Demir despite his constant pleas to trust and believe him. Ali proposes marriage to Asi and is declined. However, she tells Demir that she has accepted it.

Asi, who has overheard that Demir is going to marry Zeynep, is deeply hurt and accepts Ali´s marriage proposal. At last, however, Asi and Demir can overcome prejudices and misunderstandings and they eventually reunite.
