Previously it was said to be a Tv serial same happen with Mahira and Humayun Bin Roye. Every body knew about Manto he was the famous urdu Afsana nigar (short story writer) writer.
This movie is based on the real life of the novelist. Saadat Hassan wrote the main them,e story featuring Sarmad Sultan Khoosat as Sadaat Hassan Manto, and Sania Saeed as begum Safiyah Manto. It will be an interesting Biographical Movie specially for all those who are interested in urdu literature like my elder sister.
You will see a rich cast including Sarmad Khoosat ( Saadat Hasan Manto), Saba Qamar as (Noor Jehan), Imran Abbas as (Talochan Singh), Sania Saeed as (Begum Manto), Mahira Khan, Faisal Qureshi, Hina Khawaja Bayat, Nimra Bucha, Savera Nadeem, Adnan Jaffar, Tipu Sharif, Nadia Afghan, Afraz Rasool, Yasra Rizvi, Irfan Khoosat, Mohammed Hanif as Writer (Guest Appearance) and others.
