Tarang New pack TVC 2014 Ali Zafar
As i shared in the previous post about the upcoming Tarang TVC featuring Ali zafar and many others. Finally the wait is over here is the TVC video. So hold your stamina, be patience and read my review about this commercial. After watching the video i was very much disappointed, the execution didn't match the product. I was expecting an innovation but all in vain.
- It started when the Ad for Tarang was shooted in Turkey in a small flat and ends at the dancing over the rooftop in middle of a hot summer day with the idea of loadsheding.
- But the idea/Theme of drinking tea on the rooftop would be much more better if this ad onaired in winter.
- Who in the world drink tea in hot summer, in the middle of the day at the rooftop while dancing?
- The idea for this commercial would be much more suitable if it would be some soft refreshing drink.
- Why you need to dance on the rooftop when there is no electricity/loadsheding. Is electricity come if you dance while drinking Tarang tea.
- Moreover if you are featuring a top star like Ali zafar, the jingle for Tarang should be in his voice not just the lipsing.
- This scene was giving the glimps of Jahsne Baharan and basant festival we used to celebrate in Lahore.
- Infact the TVC was not Tarang Chai ka sahi jor but Tarang Garmi ka sahi Tor!
- The idea/campaign failed to grab viewer and customers attention for Tarang Tea whitener.
