Tamanna is a pakistani UK based production. The film directed by British director Steven Moore.
Now Pakistani Film industry has started to get mature. This year can be very important success for Pakistan Film industry though the concepts of movies are different casting local actors of small screen. There is a possibility about the release of some big hit movies which may revive the history of Pakistani cinema.

Hope the time comes when people to cinema to watch pakistani movies. These films include Mein shahid afridi hun ,Gidh, Waar, Ishq Khuda and Chambaili. Tamanna, is an intense thriller with elements of dark humour, which explores, amongst various themes, a young man’s reluctance to accept feudal dominance. Adapted from the classic British stage play 'Sleuth' by Anthony Shaffer set in present day Lahore, Pakistan.

The story of Tamanna is about the class of snobbery and ego. Its not a masala movie the writer choose realism of society and shows the seriousness of the consiquences. The main theme of tamanna revolves around the life of a young man Riz Ahmed , falls in love with the young & beautiful wife of the Mian Tariq Ali. Riz steal some highly precious jewels under the pressure of mian tariq ali from the former had brought. Thus the intrigue tale of crime, love,romance, jealousy begans.

Well Judging by the trailer of the movie, the film seems to have a strong plot experienced artists, along with its superb set design and cinematography. All of them experienced and well-known local actors.  The sound tracks sung by Rahat fateh ali khan & Zoe Viccaji. This films has already been featured in london asian film festival. Production by Sara tareen.
